Air Mauritius holds a PART 145 Maintenance Organisation approval issued by the European Aviation Safety Agency, authorizing the airline to perform line and base maintenance on European registered aircraft at its facility in Mauritius. Level A and level C checks are carried out in the airline’s ultra modern hangars. Service on board: On board each of each flight, a team of professional cabin staff serve the passages. The food is carefully selected and the menus are compiled by the best Airline Chefs in the world. The generous bar service as well as the Duty free items offered for on board sale comprise some of the most famous and appreciated brands in the world. Ground services: Check-in counters are operated across a network, providing special space for passengers flying First and Club Mauritius class as well as for the Kestrel Flyer Plus and Elite cardholders. Special counters for ticketing, excess baggage payments and transiting have also been set up to ensure smooth transactions and thus greater comfort for the travellers.. Passengers flying First and Club Class and holders of Elite Frequent Flyer Cards are granted access to the “Salons Amédée Maingard” in Mauritius and to designated lounges around the world. A fast track immigration service is available for a fee to all First Class passengers out of Mauritius, providing them with additional time to relax comfortably in the First Class Lounge at the airport in Mauritius. |
