"My primary school the Clairfonds Government School was in the vicinity of my house. It was a time when we used to get milk, dry fruits, cheese at the school. There was a teacher who was always punishing the stu¬dents by pulling the sideburns and making us stand on our toes. Though it was not me going through the punishment, I was afraid to be punished. The school was a beautiful place with its fish pond, playground with had swings and games. I loved the beautiful trees in the yard. My primary schooling was totally academic with not much time for other activi¬ties. Painting, games and sports were not given much importance. |
